Traditionally practised by the nomadic Vaghari community of Gujarat, Mata ni Pachedi is a traditional textile art where sacred stories are hand-painted on fabric for goddess shrines. This hands-on workshop, led by master artist Sri Suresh Chitara, will take students into the motifs, meanings, and traditions of this sacred craft. Participants will explore the cultural richness of the art form and create their own painted piece of heritage to take home.
