Biomimicry Workshop 2026
What if nature could teach you how to design better? Biomimicry—from the Greek bios (life) and mimesis (to imitate), looks to nature’s structures, systems and survival strategies for inspiration.
Kick things off with an introduction to biomimicry, then head out on a nature walk around campus.
Next, get into teams and turn your observations into a product prototype!
Come ready to observe differently, spot hidden design patterns, and transform nature’s clever solutions into your own ideas.
Look closer. Think smarter. Design like nature.
