Established in 2009, Ahmedabad University is a private, non-profit research university that offers students a liberal education focused on interdisciplinary learning and research thinking.
The Annual Economics Conference by Amrut Mody School of Management of Ahmedabad University offers a global forum for dissemination of modern research in all areas of Economics and Finance.
The 2023 Annual Conference will be held on-site at the Central Campus of Ahmedabad University.
The 2023 Plenary Lectures will be delivered by Professor Ariel Rubinstein of Tel Aviv University, Israel and New York University, USA and Professor Kaushik Basu of Cornell University, USA.
There will be a Special Session to Celebrate 91 Years of Professor C. Rangarajan, Former Governor, Reserve Bank of India and Former Chairman, Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council.
A Best Paper Prize will be awarded to one of the presented papers.
Journal tie-up with Conference: Economic Modelling
The conference organizers, in liaison with the editors of Economic Modelling, will invite the authors of selected high-quality papers that fall within the general remit of the journal, to submit their manuscript to the journal. The editors will ensure that the selected papers undergo the normal reviewing process on a fast-track basis. All papers will be double-blind refereed in the standard way. Authors should submit their paper via the journal’s website, for consideration for publication in a regular issue of the journal.
