Ahmedabad University is celebrating the ‘Ahmedabad Literary Festival’ to coincide with the National Library Week.

Library Week allows us to promote our local libraries and their workers. From Harry Potter and Matilda to Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, we are sure at some point you have dashed to the library to borrow your favourite book. Libraries are pivotal to society for both universities and schools. Celebrating them means celebrating silent reading, our communities and getting into college. So, this Library Fest, let’s look back on our love for the smell inside an old book, wholeheartedly thank our local public libraries and celebrate the joy of reading.
