The objective of this event, is to impart critical skills and insights to the participants for Understanding the Role of Public Relations (PR) in a Crisis. During the event, the participants will explore how PR can mitigate reputational damage in events such as sudden death, loss, or image shifts. They will learn Strategic Crisis Communication by studying real-world case studies and focusing on building transparent and effective communication strategies. The participants will work in teams to handle a challenging PR scenario through a Crisis Response Simulation, thereby enhancing their decision-making and problem-solving abilities. This activity also fosters Leadership and Team Collaboration, encouraging teamwork for managing situations under pressure. Finally, the participants will practise Navigating Press and Public Scrutiny, entailing training on responding to tough media questions in a simulated press conference, which will help prepare them to deal with real-world crises.
