Gauseva
"Gau Seva" is an experiential learning event that aims to reconnect students with India's cultural roots while promoting empathy and sustainable living.
In today's fast-paced world, many young people remain unaware of animals' role in our ecological and agricultural systems, especially cows. Hosted at Bansi Gir Gaushala, founded in 2006 by Shri Gopalbhai Sutariya, this event offers students a chance to engage directly with Gir cows, understand their significance in Vedic traditions, and explore their contributions to organic farming.
Participants will gain a deeper appreciation for animal welfare and eco-conscious practices through guided tours, interactive sessions, and hands-on activities like feeding, grooming, and learning composting techniques.
By combining cultural education with practical experience, the event encourages students to develop respect for animals and the environment, fostering a more compassionate and informed approach to sustainable living.
