Post-processing is as important a part of the craft of photography as shooting the picture itself. The workshop on ‘Colour, Compose, and Retouch’ aimed at teaching students the basics of lightroom mobile photo editing, providing them hands-on training on the operation and efficient use of software tools for editing photographs. Instead of mandating the use of every available tool, the focus should be on choosing the appropriate instruments for colour and grading of photographs. This would enable the participants to optimally use their imagination and creativity in processing to enhance the quality and visual appeal of the pictures after they are captured.
