Technical Knowledge, Project Management, and Skill Form the Holy Trinity of Success, says Ahmedabad Alumnus
“The best way to dream about a future is to execute it,” concurs Ashutosh Mehta, BTech Class of 2022 and the Founder of ShyamRatna Projects. Ever since he was in the tenth grade, Ashutosh knew he wanted to embark on an entrepreneurial journey. His interest in mechanical engineering inspired him to start his own firm, and his passion for carving out a place for himself in Gujarat’s engineering landscape allowed him to realise his dream.
The idea to start ShyamRatna Projects, which specialises in MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire) consulting and contracting, came to him during his final year at Ahmedabad University. At the initial stages of his firm’s conception, Ashutosh waded through several challenges with unwavering determination, from struggling to get clients for his services to securing several projects as of date. Ashutosh wears many hats, from heading multiple execution teams to being actively involved in marketing and sales.
Immediately after graduation, Ashutosh worked as an engineer for several companies, including the Adani Group, which equipped him with the knowledge and experience he required to set up his own firm. His remarkable achievement led him to be invited as a speaker on the BizRuptor Podcast, a podcast that invites successful entrepreneurs to share their journeys.
Ashutosh quickly rose to recognition with his steadfast approach and resilience and is currently working on a fire audit assignment for the Bank of Maharashtra, among other projects. He has resolved to expand to include civil contracts under his banner, thus becoming a one-stop solution for his clientele. He believes that technical knowledge, project management, and skill form the holy trinity to making it big in his domain.
Recently, Ashutosh and his venture has also been featured in StartupTimes, an online portal committed to bringing forth the stories of the 95 per cent business ecosystem, including MSMEs, startups, and sustainable enterprises.
