Poetry, narrations, stories, and musical compositions all joined together to display the beauty of languages, from Kannada to Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi, and many more, thus showing the richness of the community.

The University Library System at Ahmedabad University, on the occasion of International Mother Language Day, organised an event displaying the richness of our country's linguistic traditions. The event featured diverse activities – from scribbling on a shared canvas to an open mic and a scintillating display of special books on literature from various languages. Each event was geared towards fostering a sense of inclusion and cultural pride.

And the best part? The celebration doesn't end today. We are celebrating our cultural diversity, which includes different languages, with an exhibit of unique books until February 27, 2025, set up at the Central Library, basement area of the GICT building.
