A symposium on ‘Challenges of Buddhist Heritage Sites Management in India’ was held at CHM. The symposium featured presentations by final year students of the Masters in Management Studies (Heritage Management) programme, who recently pursued fieldwork at Buddhist heritage sites at Bodhgaya and Jethian valley. Following the presentations, Mr. Thomas Jones, National Centre for Preservation Technology and Training, USA talked on ‘The Evolving Paradigm and Future of Heritage Management in India’.
A Case Writing Workshop was organized at the Centre for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University on December 15th and 16th, 2016. This workshop was supported by the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Government of India, and aimed at promoting case writing on heritage management issues. Professor A.H.
