Professor Neel Kamal Chapagain was invited as a panellist in a seminar on Conservation and Local Development, jointly organized by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture’s education programme and the CEPT University, Centre for Conservation Studies, held at CEPT University on 12 October 2019. Professor Chapagain’s topic of the presentation was ‘Intersections between the parallel discourses of heritage/conservation and development: Pedagogical implications for heritage management education’. Other speakers at the seminar included Professor Yudhshthir Raj Isar, Ar. Ratish Nanda, Ar. Poonam Verma Mascarenhas, Dr Benny Kuriokose, Dr Jigna Desai, and Professor K.T. Ravindran.
