Vision To shape and polish next-generation engineers for building safe and affordable future technologies.
Professor Sanket Patel is proudly working for the School of Engineering and Applied Science of Ahmedabad University. He is also a founder and director of Sensegood Instruments Private Limited and its subsidiary Sensegood Space and Defence Electronics. He designed and developed technologically advanced the world’s most affordable color spectrophotometers, colorimeters, whiteness and yellowness testers, and Agtron analyzers. Further, he is a consultant to Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Ministry of Defence for collaborative R&D in new technology areas related to Electronics Defence Systems. He has also carried out research at Space Application Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) where he successfully developed Ku-band satellite receiver front-end Microwave ICs which are deployed in OCEANSAT satellite. He has successfully executed state, national and international level collaborative research projects as the Principal Investigator. He has demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills by developing numerous commercially successful electronic products. He has good capabilities in the end-to-end product development process.
Sanket S Patel did his PhD in Electronics from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar in 2014. He served in various teaching positions at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar and DA-IICT. He currently owns one Patent, and has more than fifteen research publications in IEEE, Springer, and Wiley. He received the 2014 IEEE award for his doctoral research, awarded by Dr. M. Ponnavaikko, the IEEE India chairman at that time. He is in the reviewing committees of various conferences, journals, startup evaluations, and international research fellowship programs.
Dr Sanket S Patel is a Founder and Director of Sensegood Instruments Private Limited and its subsidiary Sensegood Space and Defence Electronics.
The instruments division manufactures the world’s most affordable and technologically advanced Color Spectrophotometers. Sensegood Instruments is India’s only and the World’s fourth manufacturer of instruments of its kind. Some of the features that the instrument has, are not available in any of the other instruments in the world. It is completely Made in India Patented Proprietary Technology with 20 years of exclusive rights. This division has a wide target market including plastics, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paper, paint, food, and agriculture processing industries. Its customer base includes many century-old companies across the globe.
The space and defence division is into research and development of next-generation electronics systems for the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Space, Government of India. Dr. Sanket Patel is a consultant to Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for Electronics Defence Systems development. He successfully developed Ku-band receiver front-end subsystems for ISRO’s OCEANSAT satellite.
