Ahmedabad Doctoral Student secures the ‘Young Researcher Award for Best Presentation’ at the IC2S2TD-2021
Dhana Lakshmi Manyala, a doctoral student at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University, has been awarded the ‘Young Researcher Award for Best Presentation’ during the ‘International Conference on Chemical Sciences in Sustainable Technology and Development (IC2S2TD-2021)’. The conference, held on November 24–26, 2021, was jointly organised by the Department of Chemistry, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, India, and Department of Chemistry, 중앙대학교 (Chung Ang University, CAU), South Korea. The main objective of this virtual conference was to provide an online platform to bring together leading academics, scientists, industrial researchers, and research scholars to exchange the recent developments in chemical sciences, materials sciences, biological sciences, and related interdisciplinary research areas.
Dhana Lakshmi has received this award for her paper titled ‘Non-ionic IGEPAL CO-520 mediated formation and characterization of novel micro-emulsions for personal care’. She is working in the area of Chemical Engineering under the guidance of Professor Dharmesh Varade, Associate Professor, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University.
