Two Day Workshop: Process Modelling and Simulation using Aspen Plus

Two Day Workshop: Process Modelling and Simulation using Aspen Plus

Aspen Plus is an advanced chemical optimisation software used by bulk, fine, speciality, biochemical and petroleum industries, as well as the polymer industry, for the design, operation, and optimisation of safe and profitable manufacturing facilities.

Course Objectives

  • To build flow sheet simulation models for analysing steady-state processes using Aspen Plus.
  • To simulate and troubleshoot basic unit operation models as well as complete process models.
  • To develop the foundation skills for process design, debottlenecking and optimisation.

Course Overview

This course will discuss

  • building and troubleshooting flow sheet simulations with distillation columns, reactors, heat exchangers, compressors, and separators.
  • reducing the time for process design by analysing optimum parameters.
