Constructing and Programming Robots using Lego Education Kit

Title: Constructing and Programming Robots using Lego Education Kit

Abstract: Lego Mindstorms EV3 is one of the most popular and widely used robotics education kits in the world. Lego Mindstorms EV3 Education Kit provides several types of parts like the controller (called as a brick), motors and sensors (like colour, ultrasonic and touch sensors) as well as a visual programming system required for building and programming a variety of robots. Speaker will demonstrate how to program an EV3 robot, how to transmit the program from the programming software to the robot’s controller, how to make the robot move and how to make the robot sense its environment. The objective of the presentation is to demonstrate robotics programming concepts and fundamentals using an education kit.
