Professor Siddhartha Saxena Joins as Public Health Scotland Board Apprentice
Continuing his efforts to make impactful changes in the public sector, Professor Siddhartha Saxena has joined as Board Apprentice with Public Health Scotland (PHS). PHS is Scotland's national public health body.
PHS, the Host Board for the Boardroom Apprentice Programme, offers one aspiring board member the opportunity to participate in the 12-month board learning, development, and placement programme. It will enable the member to serve on a public or third-sector board and learn and gain the experience needed to make an impact in the sector.
As a board apprentice of this government organisation, Professor Saxena, Assistant Professor at the University’s Amrut Mody School of Management, will be mentored by PHS board members, attend the board meetings and work with the organisation.
