Dr. Sonal Yadav teaches Economics since last 22 years. She did her B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. (Economics) from the M.S.University, Baroda. She holds M.Phil and Ph.D. in Economics from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. She has presented and published several research papers in National and International conferences and peer-reviewed journals respectively. Her areas of research include Labour Economics, Issues of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Gender Studies. Her Ph.D. thesis is in the area of Labour Economics. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is " Impact of Economic Reforms on Industrial Labour: A Study of Small Scale Engineering Industries of Gujarat". She is a life member of Indian Economic Association (IEA), Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE), Gujarat Economic Association (GEA), WILPF (Women's International League for Peace and Freedom) India chapter and Indian Association for Canadian Studies.
