The objective of the VentureStudio Fellowship Programme is to equip students with the necessary skills, tools, and the understanding required to successfully start an innovation-driven venture.

Under the Programme, students will learn how to:

• Come up with innovative products, and business or process ideas that address real-world needs
• Form a multidisciplinary team with complementary skill sets to execute the business
• Visualise the business through the business blueprint framework
• Define the MVP and build a prototype of their offering
• Identify early adopters of their product, and the most lucrative sales and marketing channels
• Generate revenue
• Achieve product-market fit
• Build a financial model for their business
• Raise funds for its execution 

The Programme is designed to be intensive, hands-on, experiential, project-based, and multidisciplinary to give students a real-life experience of starting an innovative business. During this 16-week long Programme, students will deep dive into many topics such as idea generation, business model canvas, marketing, finances, product-market fit, among several others. Apart from workshops conducted by subject area experts, students will also get an opportunity to interact closely with successful entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors.

The VentureStudio Fellowship Programme will be offered every year in the Winter Semester and it will carry 12 Credits. Students are expected to allocate six hours for classroom and mentoring sessions, and 30 hours for outside work, every week. Students will be evaluated based on biweekly assignment submissions, monthly evaluations, and the final presentation. 

The Programme is rigorous and demanding, and it has a very high workload. It promises to provide an insightful learning experience alongside an exposure to industry. 

Who can enroll: 3rd and 4th year Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral students of Ahmedabad University pursuing any major. This course is ideal for students aspiring to be innovation-driven entrepreneurs. 

Application Process:

• Applications will remain open from October 1 to October 31 every  year
• Applications selected after the first screening will be invited for an in-person interview
• A maximum of 24 students will be selected from across Schools and Majors
• The final decision will be announced by November 30.
