Profile

Sridhar Dalai is working as an Assistant Professor at School of Engineering and Applied Science (formerly, Institute of Engineering and Technology) , Ahmedabad University. He has done his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He has done his M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee. Prior to his doctoral study, he worked as an Assiatant Professor at GVP College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam for 3 years. He has done his Ph.D. in the Centre for Research in Nano-Technology (CRNTS), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT B). He has done Ph.D. in the area of nanomaterial's for hydrogen storage.
During his Ph.D, he was actively involved in the teaching assistant program of IIT B, where he got hands on experience on many sophisticated analytical instruments. He can confidently handle the Laser Raman Spectrometer (LRS), Electron spin spectrometer (ESR), Gas chromatograph with mass spectrometer (GCMS),  BET surface area analyzer, Flame Spraying, Sievert's type apparatus and also Temperature programmed desorption system (TPDRO) for the routine sample analysis, preventive maintenance and data analysis for research applications.
Recently he got the Young Scientist Award (in the category of Engineering / Chemical ) from VIFRA2015 at Chennai, India during the Annual Research Meet – VIFARM 2015.
