Rupsa Bhowmick is a postdoctoral research associate from the Los Alamos National Lab. She completed her PhD at Louisiana State University, focusing on Southwest Pacific Tropical Cyclone Frequency and Intensity Related to Observed and Modeled Geophysical and Aerosol Variables. Currently, her work focuses on hurricane feature detection using novel detection techniques, understanding their climatology, and utilising machine learning and geospatial techniques to build probabilistic models for extreme events-related phenomena.
