Tech Students' Rover Robot Project awarded at GUJCOST's ROBOFEST 3.0

Creating new pathways in the emerging fields of artificial intelligence and robotics led our students to build AURover, a project that secured them the second prize in GUJCOST's ROBOFEST 3.0.

The participating team comprised BTech students Manan Anjaria, Kanad Patel, Yashveer Yadav, Vedanshee Trivedi, and Anar Bahgat. The team competed alongside 17 other institutes of repute in the ROVER category from December 28-31, 2023.

Currently, three of the team members have graduated. Manan Anjaria is working with a Robotics R&D company, and Vedanshee Trivedi and Anar Bahgat are pursuing further studies in University of Southern California and New York University respectively.

Organised by the Gujarat Council of Science and Technology (GUJCOST) under the aegis of the Gujarat government's Department of Science and Technologies, the competition aimed at enhancing the skill sets of budding engineers by engaging them in creative competition, nationally and internationally.
