Sagar Shah, BTech with Major in Chemical Engineering, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Class of 2022, has been accepted into Purdue University. He will be pursuing his two-year MS programme in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Energy at the Davidson School of Engineering. "I am delighted to enter Purdue since it was my top choice for higher education. The objectives and curriculum of its programme align with my own goals. It is among the few universities that offer six courses around renewable energy and energy systems," he says.
An active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Student Chapter at Ahmedabad University, Sagar got deeply interested in renewable energy and energy systems in his third semester. "We had some fascinating courses in Chemical Reaction Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology back then. Later, in our seventh semester, we studied Catalysis and Catalytic Processes in great detail and I was certain I would like to pursue this domain."
Sagar says he brings his individuality and experience built by Ahmedabad University to Purdue. "The most important outcome of my undergraduate programme at Ahmedabad is the emergence of a professional thought process," he adds.
