Mansi Sonaiya Receives SHODH Scholarship for Research on Solar Cells
Mansi Sonaiya, PhD student at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, has received the ScHeme Of Developing High Quality Research (SHODH) Scholarship from the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. She is conducting research on solar cells under the mentorship of Deepak Verma, Assistant Professor, School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Mansi's research focuses on sustainable energy sources, particularly the problems caused by solar cell degradation. She says, “My research addresses the degradation mechanism in large area perovskite solar cells. Through the project, I will use different coating techniques to coat small molecules or thin films and involve simulations to make the experimental work easier.”
