India Today Ranks Ahmedabad University 3rd Amongst India’s Top 50 Private Universities in the Best Universities Survey conducted by Nielsen

Ahmedabad University features at the top of the table, surpassing many other private universities in the country, in a recent survey conducted by Neilsen for media conglomerate India Today. The India Today-Nielsen rankings were a part of a nationwide perceptual survey across multiple parameters. A total of 500 universities were considered based on secondary data sources such as the internet, published reports, and the Handbook of the Association of Indian Universities. 
 
600 experts comprising deans, registrars, department heads, professors, and senior intellectuals across the country were asked to rank universities other than their own. The experts evaluated universities across 11 parameters, such as the reputation of the university, quality of academic input, faculty research publications, student care, infrastructure, innovation and governance, admission procedure, placement opportunities, enrollment for higher education, global exposure, and security for students.
