bagged the second prize in the Student Technical Presentation Competition

Anannya’s work is focused on the disintegration of dyes as pollutants in water. Her experimental work on the use of sulphate radicals to disintegrate pollutants to reduce pollution stood out among other submissions. The judges admired her research for using a practical approach and conducting experiments whose results supported her findings.

“I would like to thank my professor, Snigdha Kuntia, who was extremely supportive and allowed me to explore,” she said and expressed her gratitude to the University for allowing her to use advanced techniques such as HPLC and UV radiation for the research.
