Air Pollution: Sources, Monitoring, and Reporting

Air Pollution: Sources, Monitoring, and Reporting

Air pollution is no longer just a headline—it is one of the most critical challenges facing global industry and public health today. While textbooks provide the "why," the professional world demands to know the "how."

To bridge this gap between classroom learning and real-world practice, GWICA (Global Water Innovation Centre for Action), incubated by Arvind Limited and GAP Inc; in collaboration with Ahmedabad University, is delighted to invite students and young professionals to a practical, industry-aligned learning workshop on Air Pollution: Sources, Monitoring and Reporting

Theme: From Source to Standard – Practical Training on Air Pollution Monitoring, Stack Emissions and Regulatory Reporting

The gap between academic learning and industrial application is often wide. This workshop is specifically designed to bridge that void. You will move beyond theory to understand the precise mechanics of how air quality is monitored, measured, and reported in the real world.

Date: Wednesday-Thursday, January 21-22, 2026
Time: 4:00 - 7:00 PM IST
Venue: Online Via Zoom
Registration Fee: INR 500 + GST

This 2-day online technical workshop is designed to give participants a clear, practical understanding of how air pollution is assessed and managed in real industrial and regulatory environments.

The workshop covers

  • Ambient air quality monitoring techniques
  • Stack emission testing and sampling protocols
  • Laboratory analysis and interpretation of results
  • Regulatory reporting aligned with CPCB, SPCB, and global standards

The workshop blends theory, demonstrations, real-world case examples, and regulatory perspectives, making it especially valuable for students preparing for careers in environment, sustainability, infrastructure, and industrial operations.

Who Should Attend

  • Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering Students
  • EHS and Sustainability Aspirants
  • Early-career Environmental Engineers
  • Researchers and Laboratory Analysts
  • Industrial and Utility-focused Engineering Students
  • Anyone seeking practical exposure beyond textbooks
