Pankaj Joshi Recognised in the World's Top 2% Scientists 2023 List by Stanford University

Pankaj Joshi, Distinguished Professor of Physics, School of Arts and Sciences, and Director, International Centre for Space and Cosmology, has been recognised for his career research in the 2023 list of the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University. 

The broad subfields under which his research is categorised are Nuclear and Particle Physics, Fluids and Plasmas, and Physics and Astronomy. Professor Joshi’s research interests are general relativity and cosmology, and he has made fundamental contributions to black hole physics and gravitation theory.
