Students of Masters programme in Heritage Management organised an event titled ‘Anakahi’ (meaning: untold) at Centre for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University on the evening of Saturday, 17th February 2018.
The interactive event called for people to share, learn, interact and explore various ways of expressing and sharing heritage. The participants shared their collections, rituals, traditions and untold-unheard stories about their daily life. The participants ranged from the children to senior citizens. They discussed the tangible and intangible values they are attached with and how these values and memories shape their heritage. The discussion was followed by a cultural evening packed with poetry recital, Kathak performance, Classical Music, and a screening of a documentary film.
There was also an option of participating virtually through an online platform, which provided access to the event to a few more participants across India.
