Study Shows Less Entrepreneurial Aspirations among Female Students
The combined influence of risk-taking attitude, innovativeness, and self-confidence with entrepreneurship education influence entrepreneurial aspirations, especially among female students, highlighted Professor Jeemol Unni’s presentation at the Global Conclave on Advancing Human Development in the Global South, New Delhi, recently.
Professor Unni, faculty at the University’s Amrut Mody School of Management, presented her co-authored paper titled Entrepreneurial Intentions of Female Students in Indian Higher Education Institutions: The Impact of Entrepreneurial Education, Family Background and Attitudes at the conference’s panel on Gender, Entrepreneurship and Work Participation.
The Institute for Human Development (IHD), New Delhi, organised the conference in partnership with NITI Aayog, Government of India, and the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS).
