Research Interests: Labour Economics, Applied Microeconomics, Applied Microeconometrics

Profile

Professor Landge is an economist whose research lies at the intersection of labour economics, intergenerational mobility, inequality, and applied econometrics. His doctoral research investigated how family background, occupational choices, and skill transmission shape economic opportunities across generations. He combines traditional econometric methods with machine learning techniques to study occupational mobility and income inequality.

Professor Landge earned his PhD in Economics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). He also holds an MS in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY), an MBA in Operations Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management (SIOM), and a BE in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Karad. He was a Junior Scholar at Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality, New York, where his research focused on inequality and economic opportunity.

Prior to academia, he spent over a decade in industry, leading large-scale technology and business transformation projects across manufacturing and information technology sectors. This experience informs his interdisciplinary approach to research and teaching, bridging economic theory with real-world business and policy challenges.
