Profile
Professor Tiwari’s research focuses on operations in developing economies, sustainable supply chains, and policy design, drawing insights from industrial economics. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Kanpur, he worked on electric-vehicle infrastructure and circular-economy systems. He is a recipient of the INFORMS Contemporary Operations in Developing Economies Award (2025) and the Springer Best Doctoral Paper Award (SOM 2022) for his doctoral research. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. His primary research interests include stochastic optimisation, operations–economics interface, supply chain management, and game theory, with applications in beekeeping, recycling, and hydroponic farming.
