Research Interests: Applied Game Theory, Discrete Choice Models, Contract Theory

Profile

Professor Subramaniam's expertise lies in applied game theory, auction theory, and models of competitive price formation. He has published work on price discrimination, auctions, and pricing.

His research has evolved to incorporate aspects of positioning, asymmetric information, and contract theory, allowing him to investigate complex marketing problems within a game-theoretic framework.

Professor Subramaniam's work has been published in top-tier international journals such as Marketing Science and Management Science.

Beyond his research, Professor Subramaniam teaches a range of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in India and the USA. His recent courses include Applied Game Theory in Marketing, Strategic Models in Marketing, B2B Marketing, and Luxury Marketing.
