Professor P. R. Shukla currently holds the position of Co-Chair, IPCC Working Group III (Mitigation) since October 2015. He has a PhD from Stanford University and has been a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad since 1979. He has been awarded the Certificate for the ‘CONTRIBUTION TO THE AWARD OF NOBEL PEACE PRIZE’ FOR 2007 TO THE IPCC’ and Certificate for Contribution to Climate Change Research, by the Hon’able Prime Minister, Government of India in 2007
Coordinated and delivered numerous research and consulting assignments for national and international organizations on global technology policy, energy demand forecasting, energy and environment modeling and policy analysis, environment management, environment impact assessment, sustainable development, climate change policy, operations management, project management, logistics, and manufacturing strategy.
