Professor Loyimee Gogoi earned her MSc in Mathematics (Tezpur University), and PhD in Mathematics (Dibrugarh University). She was a researcher at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China from September 2019 to August 2021. She worked as a researcher in other institutes like Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), the UK and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Before joining Ahmedabad University, she was an Assistant Professor at Xavier's Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Chennai.

Professor Gogoi has four years of experience in research. Her research area is Cooperative Game Theory and its applications in networks. She has several publications at European Journal of Operational Research, Operational Research, TOP, Mathematical Social Sciences, and International Journal of Economic Theory etc.
