Management and Organisation

An academician with an interest in the area of Strategy, Kunal has been associated with the school since 2008. He is a doctorate in Management, with his thesis on ‘Assessment of Enablers and Inhibitors of Collaboration in SMEs in Pharmaceutical Clusters in the State of Gujarat, India’. 

He is currently the Chair of the BSM Programme of Amrut Mody School of Management. Earlier, he was the faculty chair of Career Development Centre for graduate programmes of Amrut Mody School of Management.

He has presented research papers at reputed conferences - both in India and abroad.

His research interests are in the areas of SME competitiveness, Sustainability and Strategy, and Social Enterpreneurship.

Kunal has teaching experience of more than 15 years. Kunal teaches in the Environment and Climate Change studio of the Foundation Programme at Ahmedabad University. At the Amrut Mody School of Management, he teaches courses in the area of Strategic Management at the undergraduate as well as the graduate level. He has developed an elective on Strategies for Firms in Emerging Markets and also taught an elective on Advanced Business Strategy which focuses on various aspects of competitive dynamics in the industry. He has also taught a course on Fundamentals of Management in the Masters for Heritage Management Program.

 

He has taught Competitive Strategy in Executive Management Program for JMC Projects Ltd. (One year program) - an Organization Based Program, catering specifically to the need of the organization with specific inputs on the construction industry.
