Research Interests: Business Clusters and SMEs Competitiveness, Business Models and Multi-Sided Platforms.
An academician with an interest in Strategy and Marketing, Kunal has been associated with the school since 2008. He is pursuing his doctorate in Management, and studying ‘Assessment of Enablers and Inhibitors of Collaboration in SMEs in Pharmaceutical Clusters in the State of Gujarat, India’. Post a Masters in Business Administration with Marketing Specialization, he has been engaged into teaching and its allied activities.
He’s been handling the admissions office of the MBA program and has concurrently also conceptualized, presented and published research papers. He presented research papers at reputed conferences like ISRDS, 2015, Trondhiem, Norway, IIM- Indore and IIM- Kozhikode.
His research interest lies in case-writing and is currently working on 2 full-length, complex business cases and teaching notes.
Kunal has a teaching experience of more than 8 years. He teaches courses on Business Strategy at both - the Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate programs. He also teaches an elective on Advanced Business Strategy which focuses on various aspects of competitive dynamics in the industry. He has also taught a course on Fundamentals of Management in the Masters for Heritage Management Program.
Moreover, he also teaches courses on Consumer Behavior and Digital Marketing.
He has taught Competitive Strategy in Executive Management Program for JMC Projects Ltd. (One year program) - an Organization Based Program, catering specifically to the need of the organization with specific inputs on the construction industry.
