Professor Joshipura is a multidisciplinary management professional with experience in the private and public sector, consulting, and academics spanning four decades across the US, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. His experience as a business leader ranges from brick-and-mortar industries (automotive, agro-industries, oil, rubber, food processing, and high-tech industries (SW, HW electronics) to infrastructure sectors such as energy and power generation. He has experience in general & plant management with P&L responsibilities, manufacturing, operations, financial control, logistics, sales & Marketing, and business development. He has worked with industries and institutions such as IBM, Niger West S.p.A, and DELL/EMC2, The World Bank, the University of Tokyo. He has been a power generation (Renewable & conventional) consultant and a Visiting Professor of Renewable Energy and Resource Management. He received a group patent in information technology while working at IBM. He holds an MS degree from MIT, Cambridge, USA.
