Technology, Operations and Decisions Sciences

Dr Bhaktida Trivedi is an Assistant Professor in Technology, Operations and Decision Sciences area at Ahmedabad University. She has been associated with the University since 2001. She pursued her graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad and acquired her post-graduation, MPhil and PhD with specialisation in Statistics from the School of Science, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.

Her research is broadly focused on the field of statistical distribution and related inferences. She has presented her research at various national and international conferences. She has also published her research work in quality peer-reviewed journals like Communications in Statistics – Simulation and Computation (Taylor and Francis), Journal of Modern Applied Statistical Methods, Mathematical Theory and Modelling (IISTE – International Knowledge Sharing Platform) and Mathematics and Statistics (Horizon Research). She recently published a chapter in Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics and presented a research paper at the 5th IIM-A International Conference on ‘Advanced Data Analysis, Business Analytics and Intelligence’ organised by IIM Ahmedabad.

She is also involved in giving honorary services as an ‘Acupressure Therapist’ at Samaratba Acupressure Centre, Paldi, Ahmedabad, as she very firmly believes in the ideology of giving back to society.
