Mr. N.S. Parthasarathy, co-founder of Mindtree, boasts over 35 years of experience in the IT services industry, where he has played a transformative role in driving innovation, global expansion, and operational excellence. His academic background includes an MSc in Mathematics from BITS Pilani, an MTech in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur, and he is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. Prior to co-founding Mindtree, he was in Wipro’s global research and development team for 15 years. He has served on the NASSCOM IT Services Council for four years.

Mindtree is a global technology consulting firm that focuses on digital transformation and IT services. It offers solutions in areas such as software development, cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and enterprise resource planning (ERP). Mindtree works with clients in various industries, including banking, financial services, retail, consumer goods, travel, and hospitality.

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Mindtree, he was instrumental in scaling the company from its inception to a billion-dollar enterprise, leading strategic initiatives such as establishing global learning centers and overseeing key acquisitions. He played a vital role in setting up engineering processes during his early days in Mindtree. He was instrumental in setting up the global one-of-a-kind learning center in Bhubaneswar, conceptualized on the theme of Curiosity, Courage and Responsibility. He is also responsible for Mindtree’s merger and acquisition focus, which resulted in four successful cross-border acquisitions during an 18-month period.

In addition to his contributions to the Indian IT sector, he is deeply committed to philanthropy; he co-founded the Bagchi-Parthasarathy Hospital at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), a pioneering project aimed at integrating clinical research, science, and technology, with his philanthropic efforts focusing on fostering innovation in healthcare and advancing medical education. He is a founder and director of WhiteSwan Foundation, an NGO focusing on creating awareness of mental health.

Currently, Mr. Parthasarathy serves as Managing Partner at Mela Ventures, where he mentors and invests in early-stage startups. He aims to build the next generation of authentic entrepreneurs and memorable businesses through the 3 E's - Experience, Expertise, and Empathy.
