The seminar, “Connection, Communication, and Collaboration: 3Cs to Foster Women Entrepreneurship", aims to bring together women entrepreneurs, thought leaders, researchers, faculty members, and industry practitioners to discuss key issues and share best practices that can enhance the growth of women entrepreneurship in India.
This seminar is part of the project titled “Networking Platforms and Mentoring Support: Expectations and Experiences of Women Entrepreneurs of Gujarat,” sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under its special call for Viksit Bharat@2047. The project is being undertaken at the Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University.
The project explores how networking platforms and mentoring initiatives impact the growth and success of women entrepreneurs, focusing on their experiences, challenges, and support systems, with particular emphasis on Gujarat’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The seminar will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and generating research and practice insights, contributing to the broader goal of empowering women entrepreneurs and fostering inclusive economic growth in India. The insights gained from this seminar will further strengthen our understanding of the role of networking and mentoring platforms in supporting women entrepreneurs and advancing the objectives of our ongoing research.
In alignment with India’s vision for “Viksit Bharat@2047,” empowering women entrepreneurs is essential for inclusive economic growth. Networking and mentoring are key enablers in this journey, providing women entrepreneurs with access to resources, market opportunities, and collaborative knowledge-sharing mechanisms.
