Concourse, the flagship fest of Ahmedabad University’s Amrut Mody School of Management, is a vibrant celebration of learning, leadership, and student excellence. At the heart of Concourse are its signature academic events. Jury of Aspirants, a highly regarded forum where budding entrepreneurs engage in thought-provoking discussions with industry experts. CPL (Concourse Premier League) tests strategic thinking through a team-based auction. Events like Mock Stock push participants to react to real-time market fluctuations, sharpening financial decision-making, while Brand Wars immerses teams in the world of marketing strategy and brand positioning. The Case Competition further strengthens problem-solving abilities by engaging students with real-world business scenarios.

The Battle of Bands brings university musicians into a space where sound evolves into expression. Brand Wars is a high stakes marketing challenge where teams of people take the roles of real life commercial organisations and compete against one another using creativity, strategic planning, and storytelling.
The participants portray their understanding of brand dynamics in a series of consecutive stages, which include brand enactments, production of viral videos, product re-invention, and more, each being carefully designed to measure marketing skills, communicative skills, and creative abilities. Using data-driven insights, automation tools, and strategic decision-making, participants must propose solutions that boost efficiency and profitability. A mock courtroom is a simulated courtroom exercise where participants act as lawyers and argue a fictional case before judges, following real trial procedures. It helps develop legal reasoning, public speaking, and confidence in a formal setting.
This mock will focus on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)—laws that protect creations like inventions, artworks, designs, and brand names, giving creators control over their work. The fictional case will revolve around an IPR dispute involving issues such as ownership and infringement, allowing participants to apply legal principles, think critically, and present persuasive arguments in a realistic courtroom environment.
