Jeremy Fritzhand Joins Ahmedabad University as CEO, VentureStudio

Ahmedabad University announced the appointment of Jeremy Fritzhand as Chief Executive Officer at VentureStudio​​​​​​. With over a decade and a half of experience building startup ecosystems, Jeremy has worked across domains, including entrepreneurial acceleration, cultural preservation, international trade, and social entrepreneurship.

At VentureStudio, Jeremy aims to bring initiatives to strengthen the startup ecosystem, foster industry-academia partnerships, and drive innovation that bridges traditional knowledge with emerging technologies. His experience across American and Indian entrepreneurial landscapes uniquely positions him to elevate VentureStudio's role as a catalyst for sustainable innovation. Dear Ahmedabad University community,

It has been an inspiring and energising few weeks since joining Ahmedabad University. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself, express my gratitude, and share my vision for our exciting journey ahead.

First, I want to extend my appreciation for the warm welcome from the Ahmedabad University community and the regional startup ecosystem. From the moment I stepped into VentureStudio, I was struck by the extensive resources available to entrepreneurs. The integration of our co-working space, fabrication shop, bio-incubator, and access to startup grants and funding opportunities exemplifies our commitment to empowering innovators at every stage of their journey.

I understand why this city is recognised as one of India's fastest-growing entrepreneurial hubs. It blends a rich heritage with forward-thinking innovation, creating the perfect environment for startups to thrive.

VentureStudio is uniquely positioned at the intersection of academia and industry, offering a holistic platform for entrepreneurs to learn, innovate, and scale their ventures. Our collaborations with industry experts, investors, and government bodies provide an unparalleled advantage for startups looking to make a real impact. Building on my past experiences, I am committed to expanding the impact and reach of VentureStudio. My key priorities include:

• Strengthening our Mentor Network: Expanding our roster of industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs to guide and support our incubatees.
• Enhancing Global Connections: Creating pathways for our startups to access international markets, investors, and innovation hubs.
• Prioritising Sustainability and Social Impact: Encouraging startups to integrate sustainable practices and address pressing societal challenges.
• Expanding Funding Opportunities: Increasing access to grants, investment capital, and strategic partnerships to fuel startup growth.
• Fostering Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Encouraging the convergence of engineering, life sciences, business, and design to drive breakthrough innovations
