Chiasma, by the School of Arts and Sciences, Ahmedabad University, is a science fest organised by the students and for the students. The fest exemplifies the motto of "Motivating Curiosity" and promotes the idea of research amongst students from all over the country. Literally, as Chiasma links together the two arms of chromosomes, the event is also a bridge between learning and fun. Workshops during the day catering to the fundamental foundations of the Life Sciences and Psychology are followed by cultural celebrations in the evenings. Chiasma has been consistently organised and running successfully since 2017. The fest provides a platform for students to venture into the world of the Life Sciences, and Psychology from 2022, by bridging the gap between scientific exploration and everyday life.
