Ethics Committee

The code of ethics for conducting research by faculty, staff, and students was approved in the Academic Council. The University has constituted an interim Ethics Committee comprising the following members:

Professor Rama Ratnam, Chairperson
Professor Amit Nanavati, Member
Professor Ratna Ghosal, Member
Professor Ekta Sharma, Member 

The committee prepares a draft of the processes to be followed to certify that a research proposal does not violate the Code of Ethics of the University. This process also ensures adherence to Government of India regulations, particularly for research involving human participants, animal subjects, or biological materials.
