Interdisciplinary research and education enhance human and planetary health, marked Professor Kaumudi Joshipura at the Joint Annual Conference of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine- Gujarat Chapter (XXX) & Indian Public Health Association Gujarat Chapter (XII), organised by the Department of Community Medicine, Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, India.

She shared her vision and plans as the Dean of Ahmedabad University’s School of Public Health in the context of global and Indian public health gaps and challenges. Furthermore, she emphasised forging collaborations with medical schools in research, education, and health promotion to broaden the scope of preventive medicine specialists, include more rigorous research, and integrate public health approaches.
