Celebrating the Establishment of the School of Public Health

Ahmedabad University will announce its School of Public Health on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. We have some eminent speakers from India and the world on the occasion as part of conversations about our planet and our health and how the two are irrevocably linked.

The plenary talk will be delivered by Katherine Catalano is the Deputy Director of the Center for Climate, Health and Equity at the American Public Health Association, on Think Globally, Act Locally: Opportunities for Progress on Climate, Health and Equity.

The plenary will be followed by a panel discussion on Planetary and Human Health with Dileep Mavalankar, Director, Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar; Indu Bhushan, Founding CEO, Ayushman Bharat and Chairperson, Partnerships for Impact (P4i); and Minal Pathak, Associate Professor, Global Centre for Environment and Energy, Ahmedabad University.

Dean Kaumudi Joshipura will share her vision for the School of Public Health.
