Established in 2021, Bio-NEST at Ahmedabad University is a bioincubator supported by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.

Prayas Shala Usage Policy Highlights
- Facility hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Extended hours available with prior approval
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the facility
- Food and beverages are not allowed in equipment areas
- Users must wear proper clothing and closed-toe shoes
- Personal safety equipment must be worn when operating machines
- Workstations must be cleaned after use
- Data backup is the user's responsibility
- Users are financially responsible for damage caused
- Violation of any usage policy may result in disciplinary action, including possible suspension of booking privileges.
