Ahmedabad University’s Climate Institute brings together local, national and global resources to develop solutions for the climate, energy and environmental challenges of the Global South.

Mission

• Education: To develop India’s first comprehensive Climate, Energy and Environmental education programme
• Research: Expand Ahmedabad University’s capacity in interdisciplinary research by recruiting new faculty, and graduate students / postdocs
• Impact: A strong national and global network of partnerships to translate research insights into policy, and to incubate and accelerate novel innovative solutions for environmental challenges.
