Profile
Esha Tomar is a lawyer registered with the Bar Council of India. Before joining Ahmedabad University in November 2025, she was an Advocate at the High Court of Gujarat, where she was engaged in research, drafting, and oral pleadings in a wide range of civil and constitutional law cases. She pivoted from litigation towards policy research upon completing her postgraduate degree from Leiden University in 2025, where she studied legal anthropology, migration, and policymaking. She obtained a BA LL.B. (Honours) degree at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.
