Research Interests: Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Geometry

Profile

Professor Das has held postdoctoral positions at IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, and the Chennai Mathematical Institute. He earned his PhD from the University of Missouri in 2020, following the completion of his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Chennai Mathematical Institute.

Professor Das has delivered talks at leading institutions worldwide, including the IITs, Chennai Mathematical Institute, Tulane University, IM-VAST Hanoi, and ICTP Trieste. He has participated in major international conferences and workshops across India, Europe, and the United States, actively contributing to the global discourse in algebra and geometry.

His research interests lie in the asymptotic multiplicities which occur in commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. He is also interested in valuation theory and its applications to the theory of singularities.
