Kalpesh Patani, is currently working as Scientist at Zydus Research Centre, Ahmedabad. He did his MVSc in Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology from College of Veterinary Science, Anand. During masters he did dissertation work on Single Dose Pharmacokinetics of Cefepime after Intravenous and Intramuscular Administration in Goats (Patani K. et al., 2008). He has done various Pre-clinical Reproductive Toxicity studies like male and female fertility study, embryo-fetal developmental toxicity studies and peri-natal toxicity studies in Wistar Rats. At Ahmedabad University, Dr Patani intends to study the Reproductive safety of Glucokinase activators as Potential Therapeutic agent for Diabetes.
